Katherine Williams


Kathy Williams serves as senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer of AREVA Inc. Appointed to this position in May 2014, Williams is responsible for managing all financial activities for AREVA in North America and reports to Gary Mignogna, Chief Executive Officer of AREVA Inc. and Nicolas Nouveau, Chief Financial Officer of AREVA Group.


Williams has more than 14 years of experience with AREVA - with seven of these years in positions of increasing magnitude at the company’s global headquarters in Paris. Her last appointment in Paris was CFO of AREVA Group’s Reactors & Services Business Group, a $4 billion in revenue business, managing the financial resources of new nuclear plant builds in Europe and Asia.


Williams joined AREVA in 2002 with the acquisition of the Duke Energy Engineering and Services, where she also held the position of CFO. Previously, she held various financial management positions at Westinghouse, including Financial Manager for the global Fuel Businesses of Westinghouse and BNFL, and Director of Financial Administration and Control for the Westinghouse contracts at the DOE Hanford facility. Prior to joining Westinghouse, Williams was a financial analyst for the U.S. Department of State at the American Embassy in Cairo, Egypt.


Williams holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and a master’s in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
